I like to play DCS, a flight sim that is basically also a memory leaking machine because old spaghetti code so I use mine for sure.
With that said in other progeams/games it’s awesome to have so much overhead.

This is my take too. I gave Starfield a chance and I should have just gotten Baldurs Gate 3 that weekend instead.
What’s worse is how they dug down into qualifying why it sucked and their nightmare of a PR response. It fucking sucks though too. I want them to be good.
Remember when the Intenet made you optimistic? That’s why I think these posts gut me so much. Because it doesn’t do that anymore.
Anyway off to continue doom scrolling.
Perhaps parking a site for traffic and then using the enshitified data to sell it?
It makes me sick how dumb it sounds.
So for me it’s similar to this except I really enjoy making missions for a DCS World group (combat flight sim) I play with. Not only that but I make PowerPoints and briefings. So fun to nerd out on when I have time to make it.
You’ve never encountered photojournalism?! I know they are cutting budgets for photographers but that seems sad to me.
EDIT: i present to you: the duality of humanity.
Does it matter? Download a few movies for an 8 hour flight. Not a big deal on any device.
Also I still think this product is horrendously overpriced but it’ll be interesting to see how it plays out.
I experienced this in Taiwan to less of a degree so thanks for making me never want to go to Nepal because that gives me anxiety just imagining it 😆
Like someone else said it’s gotta be a result of the voting for the awards being awful. I wanted to like Starfield and (ducks down) even got it early at the higher price.*
But yeah lol innovation is a joke. Makes me feel bad for the devs who really made innovative stuff this year.
*To be fair I had a shitty week before that and needed a new Bethesda game to make my life less awful so it…worked? It was my comfort food ok???
I skimmed over ally and got super excited for a second.
There’s gotta be a joke about Microsoft screwing us all in there I think right?
touches nose not it!
Games my kids and I enjoy on Steam:
(Not Xbox sorry)
This is the way.
Also it helps to get super highly up voted opinions and then recycle them for my friends so they think I’m more insightful/smarter than i am.
I hope it does and I think it will but again with the reliance Bethesda puts on the community I’m nervous.
Anyway I’ve gotten much of the way through at 100 hours and have enjoyed it - definitely got my money’s worth - but I just sort of hit a wall. To be fair you’ll do that with most games but it seems like Stanfield is just bland.
That’s true and what worries me the most after wanting Starfield to do good. I’ve been playing Starfield for a bit only to find myself moving to Cyberpunk sooner than later lately.
I think everything you said here is spot on except the idea Starfield will improve pike Cyberpunk at this point because Bethesda’s attitude really doesn’t indicate that they seem to admit anything needs fixing.
With that said I doubt many people expected Cyberpunk to do as well later on so you are probably right and I hope you are for the game and genre. I really like the aesthetic of Starfield and want it to succeed.
I’m just so tired of getting such half baked stuff at release.
One annoying thing about the “make your own stories” concept is that content us going to be recycled. My followers don’t say anything new or have new things to do etc because it’s all baked in but also on this supposedly open RPG landscape.
I’d vote for you for AI overlord
