Ubisoft used to be known for their quality, and they still have a lot of very talented developers under their belt. The problem, as usual, is management and players with low standards. The talented developers don’t get to do more because players are willing to accept less. So that’s what management tells them to do. The key is to have higher standards, but nobody wants to admit they got suckered into buying or liking shit.
They made a lot of good games back in the day.
