That is true
That is true
Right and I get that, and I’m not saying that’s a bad idea, but again I just get a really bad taste in my mouth for policies that aim to save people from themselves. It just feels like the government being a parent instead of a service of the people. Secondly, it doesn’t really fix the root of the problem, which doesn’t always have to be the goal in policies obviously, but reluctantly making people make decisions with higher prices. Where should the government stop then in using higher taxes to get us to do what it wants?
Again, I’m torn on this because it may be the correct thing to do to cut down sugar consumption, but I hate the precedent it creates.
Maybe. A possibility for sure. I’m just not really into policies of trying to save people from themselves.
For me? I do what I can by just avoiding it as much as I can.
No, because just banning things rarely achieves the desired results.
And whether it’s cane sugar or high fructose corn syrup, too much sugar in general is the problem, much more so than the subtle differences between the two.
Yes, I even have a class A CDL. However, I don’t do it much so I’m not the greatest in a big truck and am competent in a regular vehicle
Yes, even as someone without anxiety this happens. This is especially true if I haven’t gotten enough sleep the last couple/few days. Also, it comes with a hangover besides the physical ailments. Lastly, if I’ve been stressed for a long while about certain things and those eventually get resolved, I’ll still feel anxiety/stress for awhile, it’s what I consider burnout as it applies to me.
Cut out Reddit completely if you haven’t already, that helps a lot.
Reddit is so much bigger, but if you remove that competition to cure the same “itch”… you’ll be here more.
Insulin is worse though because it’s not like it’s a drug that had to be developed and has a billion dollars or more to develop. The case with insulin is blatant price gouging.
This pill, this doesn’t mean it should be as cheap as insulin as the two drugs aren’t equals. It can be priced fairly and still be expensive, we don’t know the economics behind it. Being cheap =/= fair pricing all the time. Like buying a better product that took more to make.
This could still be outrageously priced obviously, but comparing it to insulin is apples to oranges.
Heard about this on the radio yesterday, and looked into it further as we hear about “cancer curing pills” all the time and they usually are nothing. This one does seem to have traction however IF it can make it through human trials. So obviously could mean nothing if it doesn’t pass this phase, and it will be there a long time, but this is very promising news.
Accomplish something everyday, one thing outside of normal life. Can be small but one extra thing.
Just had my second kid 2 weeks ago… this is simple and perfect
I had one of those before my 480! Props to you
Who cares? Without trucks moving goods, we literally have nothing and society as we know it doesn’t exist.
