It’s way better. For instance this picture didn’t take 3 minutes to load.

For how new all of this is, or at least feels, I’ve been very impressed with the app and it’s features already in place.
Gotta collect from this fresh supply of internet points as fast as possible.
We just need Daft Punk style masks so everyone can properly express how they feel on the inside when the flesh is weak.
This is the way
Yes, so very much. Jerboa has made the transisition much easier for me. Clicking on its symbol will become my new addiction I’m sure.
Click the three lines button at the top left to open the sidebar. Then at the too right of that bar there is a drop down arrow. Clicking this will get you the option to add account. Clicking add account will give you the login prompt where you will put in your site url and credentials and should be good to go Best of luck.
I feel the same. At the end of the day the community will migrate as we find the natural succesor be it Lemmy or something else.
Ideally instead of just complaining at you about the need to login it would just open the prompt for you. It took me a while as well.
Agreed. The app is way better than the page would make it appear. Loving it and Lemmy in general so far.
I think this is correct. In my headcannon I have started to call flowing through the different sites exploring the lemmyverse, which just feels right.
It looks like they don’t perform a release for each commit to main, although they do run a pipeline build each time. So your best bet is this page. https://github.com/dessalines/jerboa/releases
It appears the only releases here are the ones that are in the app stores according to versions and dates. Maybe with growing interest the team will give us cutting edge builds.
You’re right. The arrow at the top seems to go back without the refresh. I would love being able to swipe to go back as well.
Probably just a design choice. It would be nice if it held your place for sure. I hadn’t noticed until I saw your post.
Mine has done this for a few seconds on the communities I have tried joining, but then resolves to Joined. It may just be the system struggling to keep up with the influx of people. Myself included.
That’ll be $82,000 to the federation.
