But in the US, colloquially every 4 year school is a college. People say “I’m going to college.” People don’t say “I’m going to university.”

The only things I even recognize from those two are fdroid and lynx.
Old school group chat.
Please tell me there aren’t two more tiers to the right of paranoid. The last tier would just be “homemade pencils only.”
Death’s Door is surprisingly entertaining, both in combat and in narrative.
The most fun Bethesda game will always be xEdit.
That’s the Cheesecake Factory.

Can you recommend a good site for learning the ropes? It’s hard to separate the wheat from the chaff with just a web search.
Ok I just switched to Nobara. It’s great.
Looks like downstairs at the Green Hills theater by Green Hills Mall.
My small kids almost qualify as an army of cats or ferrets, and they absolutely insist on being fed, watered, and interacted with.
I wasn’t familiar with Nobara before your comment but now I’m really intrigued. I loved Fedora generally, but getting it to work with my older mobile nvidia card was a nightmare. I might give Nobara a spin based on your recommendation. Thanks.

How?
No, I’m not saying Lemmy users checking in represent any material change to Reddit numbers. I’m saying Place gets Reddit a short term boost to demonstrate the site still has pull. And that is what Reddit cares about far more than good content - eyeballs to sell ads to, and comments to sell to LLM companies.
We need Trump to be convicted and seriously punished as a deterrent. There must be extreme consequences for attempting to falsely overturn an election. If the worst outcome is loss of the election, more bad actors will do the same as Trump - and worse. This is a “line in the sand” moment for America.
