It’s true that most people wouldn’t know, and probably wouldn’t look that far into things before buying a game. Fortunately Steam’s refund policy is pretty good for this kind of situation.

For me it wasn’t about the graphics, but about the playtime. I got it at about the same price a couple years back. Took me less than 4 hours to finish the main game and DLC. That’s not something I want to pay $20 for.

There was also a video a while back from one maker channel where the guy said that he got some type of nasty poisoning from breathing in fumes from ABS printing. Fortunately ABS isn’t as popular of a material as it once was, now that there are better alternatives, but I’m sure many of them still put out some nasty fumes.

That’s not a “new trend,” it’s been that way for a long time. Denuvo is a subscription model for publishers, and it doesn’t make sense to keep paying for it after the sales have already peaked.

Shouldn’t be too hard since BattlEye is supposed to be compatible and there’s a BattlEye Proton runtime.

When it comes to Israel, they have very little incentive in changing their ways when the US refuses to join the rest of the world in condemning them.

Still, there are 124 countries that made it clear that they think what Israel is doing is wrong.

The UN is a diplomatic organization. It is a forum to discuss things and literally has no actual means to enforce anything. Its goal is not enforcement, it’s to discuss.

I don’t know what the actual truth of the situation is, but something’s fucky. I can’t imagine how Israel could plant explosives in those pagers. And overheating batteries would burst into flames rather than literally explode, so that would probably be mentioned somewhere.

Israel’s doing lots of fucked up shit lately, but I can’t see how this one would be their fault.

I’ve been using a Pinecil which is USB-C powered. It heats up in seconds and the temp can be adjusted easily. The big plus to me is how small it is. It’s so much easier to handle than a standard iron, and the tips are push-in and can be locked with a screw so they’re easy to swap.
