Yes, our right to privacy is important, and he very clearly, and, not sure how say it, makes it relatable and easy to understand.
But, her question seems to have more to do with privacy at the cost of public safety.
Never heard of Dawrf Fortress until I had sheddit and came to lemmy, where it’s sub(? Instance? Thread?) Came up on my feed before I made an account. Like a lot. Linux, programmer humor, memes, and dwarf fortress where all I saw.
I’ll need to be in the right mood to start that game, but the hype is kinda insane for a roguelike. I have high expectations.
Is that not par for the course for PC players? Console games get a PC version later if it seems profitable, and PC games get a awful console version later if it seems profitable.
