You realize it only mentions k-12 in the article and bill right? So while they are schools I can’t find mention of them in this act. Can you please show where it says Universites are included? It does not in the article or the link below.

According to the article, quoted.
Access zones are in place at K-12 schools, and police can arrest or issue tickets to anyone found impeding access, disrupting or interfering with educational activities, or attempting to intimidate an individual within 20 metres (66 feet) of school property,” the province said in a release. Unquoted now…
What part of that is bad? Nothing says people can’t protest but no one should interfere with kid’s education. Doesn’t say people can’t protest, but they can’t disrupt people who go in there is all which seems fair.
Edit: forgot to say I can be a bit dense and not realize things so if I’m missing a glaring fact or angle of this please do inform me.
I started that like 10 years ago, unfortunately I have a funky shaped head so it doesn’t look as good as it may on others but I do enjoy the maintenance on it. I can definitely tell these days it won’t grow back like it used to (much thinner on the top, edging back on the top sides). However being able to use a hair trimmer once a week myself is cheap, and less things to do while getting ready in the morning.
I can understand since society seems to put value on hair but not worrying about it (some confidence) goes a long way. I barely think about it nowadays.
I thought it had to be a joke article from the title. Yeesh wouldn’t want to be the person who gets the fallout from this idea.
I think it depends on the marketing in the end. Even if it’s expensive, if it’s not known it probably won’t sell as much as you hope. If I’m proved wrong I’d like to know to give it a try of course heh. But I do think many of those brands survive on the rich knowing them to parade around, even if they’re not known by sight due to non displayed logos.
If you want to target the new rich, then it needs to be high profile and flashy I assume.
Yeah between the biker gang and ballad of gay Tony, they had some great dlc for 4. I bought GTA 5 a second time for the PC after awhile but can’t expect a good dlc these days from them unfortunately. Hopefully their main story holds up but I’m not holding my breath given their online cash cow.
Not if the place doesn’t do daylight savings time, and not all places in a timezone will do that (least in North America) so you need extra code if they do or do not. It becomes a pain after awhile when you do it in multiple projects. Technically one extra setting but it’s still a pain to make sure it’s handle properly in all cases, especially when the previous programmer decided to handle it for each case individually, but that’s a different issue.
Also when you deal with the times, say in .Net you gotta make sure it’s the proper kind of date otherwise it decides it’s a local system date and will change it to system local when run. Sure it’s all handled but there are many easy mistakes to make when working with time.
I probably didn’t even get to the real reason, I sort of picked this up on my own.
Going back awhile now too for that no install right? Like didn’t PS3 have some installs? My memory is fuzzy on when it exactly started, but yeah it was nice to just pop in the media (cart, disc) and play. That was a great perk of console games, especially rentals, though there was a small time I could rent PC games when I moved to a city in the late 90s. These days I mostly play on PC anyways so always install but it was nice for the first few decades of my gaming to not require it.
The fun part of getting older when you go from getting the hot new thing fresh on the market to I just bought that retro thing…when it was new last ummm oh… nevermind.
If it walks like a Nazi, looks like a Nazi and sounds like a Nazi…maybe you got a jackboot problem. Least that’s how people are treating this issue it seems.
The Rainbow Six game in Las Vegas had billboard ads back in the day. I was kinda surprised it didn’t get worse since then. There’s a Penny Arcade comic for it.
I’m sure the very thoughtful part will be about how much money it can bring in without people getting too upset about it.
Soon it’ll be, ’ give birth in our facilities then you can work when you’re finished with labour, don’t worry we can provide education and daycare as long as you sign an indentured servitude for you and the new employee’.
To each their own on BG3, I used to play number of tabletop RPG games (many years ago now but a variety) and to me BG3 gives you enough options to feel like you can play as your character rather than just walk between combats, as well as avariety of ways to solve issues. Watching YouTube plays amazes me on the says other people solve the issue. I also used to play the old DnD PC games and it feels much better from my perspective, so that’s probably sways me.
I can see your view but to me BG3 is more intended as a single player game, especially with the companion interactions, so I can see why multiplayer would be lacking. Thankfully I haven’t had many bugs but have heard of them. For reference I have about 120 hours after trying beta a few goes and only a bit in act 2 so it’s a favorite of mine and am biased.
Thank you for the recommendation on the mod, I will definitely give that a try and see how the game plays. I keep meaning to reinstall anyways and new mods always give more incentive.
The gameplay is good but from what I played, outside of combat, it was a bit lackluster, and rations were a pain when I played. Though it’s hard not to compare it to BG3 in that regard. I did like Larian’s system to interact with the environment and liquids too that made some battles more dynamic. Maybe there’s more of that is Solasta than I saw too, I didn’t get far, should give it another go, it has solid combat which is at least half of a good DnD game.
You know this isn’t comparable to an aRPG I hope. It’s more comparable to DnD on a computer, so a cRPG. They really have minimal in common besides leveling up and finding gear, though aRPGs make you grind for gear, a cRPG will let you find it through various means. It’s a story game more than killing things game, some of the best outcomes happen when you don’t kill. I don’t play on PlayStation so can’t comment on the bugs but haven’t found many in my many hours on PC even through beta.
What sort of toolbar do you mean? Actually curious because I just use my taskbar for shortcuts and the number that minimize to the system tray. I’ve been wondering about other uses it could have. I will Google it too but always nice to have random people’s uses as well. Have a Linux vm setup through hyper v and been trying to learn more.
That was the recent game that came to mind, spent 60 hours on my current playthrough and only starting act 2 (of 3 for those that aren’t familiar). It’s such a well done game, I’ll gladly buy Larian games full price until their quality drops.
Their release wasn’t great for many people but they did improve it constantly over the years. To be fair as a PC player I didn’t have many issues so my opinion is biased.
Dunno what OS’s it supports besides Windows but I use Kdiff for random comparisons regularly, I think it works pretty well untill you get to much larger files (20+ MB slows down a lot). The huge file wasn’t code but needed to check output changes for those curious.
I constantly check git comparison with previous versions to see what changed to break things in a build though. Didn’t know there was a way to diff any files in git, should probably just learn to use that one.
