On my old android phone, I have a beautiful 24 hour clock (app and widget) which is unfortunately no longer available in the play store.
Just saying, it exists if you know how to look for it. It was Vejle, believe it or not, “24 hour clock”.
Am definitely human.

“Men must be stoic no matter what!”
“Men are such insensitive dolts!”
“All men are part of the patriarchy!”
…yeah, we’re not making it easy for men to show affection, are we?
The guys I go to tantra classes with are very affectionate, and it’s so lovely.
Cue the tune in my head. Thank you, it’s so lovely. 😍
Ah, you mean like the sync that Palm OS used to have? Yup, that was neat, and I’m still waiting for Android to pick up some of the neat features from back then.
On a similar note, back when I was playing a lot of shooters I would catch myself strafing around hallway corners at work 😅
Oh that is hilarious! Just on my first listen but I don’t quite get the lyrics - am deeply disappointed that the video doesn’t have subs. 🤭
Found it on Spotify. It’s so much worse with lyrics. Thank you for sharing a version without them! 🙏
Well there was also gobo Linux, which would let you play Tetris while the installation did its thing.
Aha, interesting, thank you. So setting nofail
and a time out of, say, 5s should work… but what then when I try to access the share, will it attempt to remount it?
Dragging a floppy to the bin would simply eject it… 🤷 Well all right, maybe the story is from before the intro of the “Insert disk Foo”.
Seconded.
I’ve read most of folklore.org and do not recall any such story. In fact, how do you even “drag the computer to the waste basket” as the first/only icon would be the System floppy and afaik they’ve never had / still don’t have a “computer icon”. 🤔
How the hell do I set up my NAS (Synology) and laptop so that I have certain shares mapped when I’m on my home network - AND NOT freeze up the entire machine when I’m not???
For years I’ve been un/commenting a couple of lines in my fstab but it’s just not okay to do it that way.
What I would love is a bot that takes yt links and posts the corresponding title and description of the video.
Hey just a tip to make it a bit less of a hassle for you: you can smuggle things around toll booths, it’s easier.
The article describes this as"prop money", but doesn’t give further details.
If you’re curious, Adam Savage has a number of videos from Hays Press explaining actual prop money.

What I am really looking for is beyond our email, it’s proper integration between calendar, contacts, and map.
I want to be able to share calendars with my family, and link contacts from certain events (birthdays, meetings, and also just meet-ups). I want those contact’s addresses to be available as navigation destinations in the mapping app. I want to be able to bookmark (“star”) map locations.
So close, yet so very wrong.
Yes, it’s technically correct (which we all know is the best kind of correct) and engineers would understand.
Using mm means most everyone (who knows metric) understands that in much more practical terms. A quarter of a tenth of thiiis much is a pretty damn tight fit.
Tutorial: or everything into airports and long-distance routes, you’ll make more money than you can spend. 🤷 At least, that’s how it was when I stopped playing it.
A lot of ATM cash machines run Windows 7. Yes, still.
