I’d be curious to see if you can install the patch that reintroduces the E3 graphics and how that’s handled on the Deck. Not sure on the how-to with SteamOS.

I figured that was the case, but what’s the fun of modding without some screwed up textures, some futzing around with the 254 esp limit, and a couple of annoying CTDs?
I never finished The Witness either, but I kinda wished I would have, as the philosophical nature and puzzles were both very engrossing, such a unique take on the “walking simulator” style of game. Granted, it was much more than that, and I’d actually compare it closer to Myst and Obduction than such. The puzzles were repetitive but just incentive enough to be engaging and twisted in just the right way, though they got devilishly difficult later on. Sucks about the motion sickness though. Wonder if there was an .ini swing which could’ve turned the filter off?
Though, all in all, this was definitely a difficult “separate the art from the artist” scenario.
Not sure how or if it’s mess up current saves or not, but if you’ve not considered it yet, is would recommend trying it A Tale Of Two Wastelands. Merges FO3’s Capital Wasteland with FNV’s Mojave via train ride. Keeps all the mechanics as well.
Braid was a solid game all its own, and a remaster certainly wasn’t needed (yet or at all). The Witness was freaking phenomenal, and I hope there will be other iterations of games like it to come. Blow can go blow away though. He’s an anti-vaxxer and Covid conspiracy theorist, and that is something I can write off as anyone worth acknowledging. Plenty of other amazing games in the sea.
Oh, if that was considered a lot. Was just reading comments the other day of someone with 5000+
This is what happens when one mod has patches for other mods… I’m looking at Jk’s Skyrim. I think it makes up 100+ esps on its own with all the compatibility patches.
Same with the VR version. While I could’ve made it easy in myself and used a Wabbajack modlist, instead I have a monstrosity of 1100 mods that seems to work for the most part. Only one CTD in 10 hours lol. Still my favorite VR game overall.
There was already an HD remaster released back in 2011… I’m all for crisper graphics, bugfixes and the like, as long as the core gameplay and charm from the beloved original is still there. Still also holding out for BG&E2, but that feels as close to vaporware as it stands.
Also, fuck Ubisoft and their craptastic launcher. Main reason I have strayed from majority of their titles. Maybe it’s a little pedantic, but I’m in the “Steam or no DRM” group if I bother with a game.
While I still “subscribe” to Humble, I don’t recall the last time I actually unpaused a month. Maybe this is the push I needed. Their offerings have been mostly subpar after they bought Humble. Not knocking the indie devs, I think my gaming tastes have changes over the years. Also, I don’t need coupons for DLC, please and thank you.
While it was extremely limited due to the tech at the time, I truly enjoyed this and SimCopter for the ability to drive/fly around your created cities. Would love to have seen some semblance of physics included. I just recall any cars you drove up/down hills just conformed to the terrain. Was still extremely fun.
My roommate is heavily holding out her next playthrough until 1.6 drops. Here’s hoping Stardew Valley Very Expanded gets updated soon after.
I’m heavily modding Skyrim VR currently and now that .esl support was back ported, I’m hovering around 400 mods. It’s joyous, and I’m afraid how much I may break at the same time. Nexus Collections are helping as well. Maybe I’ll test MO2 one of these days.
I have never completed or even come close to finishing the game. And I was a day one 11/11/11 purchase lol.
I did the most half-assed version of this for lunch the other day. Leftover half box of Kraft Mac, a can of tuna that was in the fridge, and a little tangy BBQ sauce, I think McD’s brand. It was… passable. I think my stomach was okay with it. I’m still alive and not on the toilet.

Shamelessly copied from the wonderful Obvious Plant.
You should check out the Brutal Doom add-on for Chex Quest. Just be wary as the Doom modding rabbit hole runs deep.
I’ll have the check out the HD version, looks pretty cool so far!
Been pretty happy with my month old Radeon RX 7800XT. 16GB VRAM, holds its own in Starfield and Cyberpunk (ooh the raytracing…), and haven’t had any issues with it.
Looks to be around £550 there.
I’ve dabbled in listening to EDM more frequently, and when I heard Chasing Heaven by him, I ran up to my roommates who proceeded to open that can of worms… never heard of the guy before that, and won’t listen to him again. Sick fuck on so many levels. The CP is a new one from what I knew then.
Cyberpunk minus Phantom Liberty, been too long since I’ve played properly.
Skyrim VR with all the fixins, maxed the esp limit, no esl support 😞
Fantastic, you’re hired!
Dunno if it’s MP compatible yet, but the newly released Day One mod attempts to simulate the first day of the Knox Event. Tons of NPCs (using a new engine instead of the built in AI), bombs dropping, different factions, etc. Crazy experience thus far, and you’ll probably die faster if you’re not careful.
Still can’t wait for build 42 tho.
