You can’t fault them for not giving it a fair chance.
I played for about 25 hours before I gave up.
Those 25 hours were mostly me waiting for the moment when it would finally get better. The moment never arrived.
Even the sorting?
I store my own created music DAW projects under documents, in its own subfolder. However, I also store a copy of an exported mp3/flac under music.
I gave Starfield a fair chance, I played it for 20 hours, patiently waiting on why it deserved an “8.4” rating from critics. But it never delivered. The gameplay is a copy of Fallout 4, the user interface is a mess (they’ve gone backwards somehow) and the world is just so generic and uninspiring that I couldn’t bear one more minute of it.
I can see why it’s got a 5.5 from real players.
On a side note, the gaming reviews now mirror Rotten tomatoes. What the professional paid “critics” love, doesn’t necessarily mean the players do, and vice versa. The real players always give a more fair rating.
Can you get bigger drives instead? So you have to use fewer of them?
Because they can’t see what you’re downloading via direct download especially if it’s over HTTPS. On the other hand, it’s trivial to see everyone’s IP if they download the same torrent you are, then they just send letters to ISPs owning those IPs who then pass it on to you.
As usual with new technology, some jobs go away and new ones appear.
Is there a need for VPN/proxy with this?
This is interesting. Does this mean I can backup my game out of steam folder, replace the steam_api.dll and be able to just run this anytime without steam?
Yeah, it doesn’t look like the GOG version has it out of the box.
I also have the GOG version but it doesn’t have controller support or higher resolution support. Did Aspyr’s update made it to GOG?
*arr apps still need a tracker. *Arr by itself is useless without working torrent trackers which are becoming fewer and fewer, unless you’re willing to play the private tracker games.
I’m happy to stay on the climate doomed Earth while you can take my spot on Mars.
The biggest problem I have with LEDs is they’re supposed to last forever yet mine die every few months.
Not all boomers who manually download mp3s transfer them around. I’m one of those “boomers” (I’m in my 30s) that download their mp3s because I like to own my stuff. I then stream it to my devices using a selfhosted media server without transferring anything.
