I miss what Twitter used to be
Daily comment to say fuck Russia
Did he delete the mastodon account? Or is he not using it anymore?
I thought he already moved to Mastodon?
lol i think reddit is fucked
Idk what you’re talking about. Mastodon is just an ugly-looking Twitter, and Twitter used the term threads long before Mastodon did. They’re all just copying Twitter
Whew. I used Evernote heavily for about two years back at the beginning of the app craze, but I quickly switched over to just the Apple Notes app as Apple made it more usable. Thank god I didn’t stick with that app
No. They’re using the fediverse, which includes instances of mastodon, but they are making their own client/web portal/whatever you wanna call it. They’re making their own version of the thing that mastodon is, and their versions will be on the same network that mastodon is on.
Lol fuck that, I’ll stick with mastodon
Will be really interesting to see how this works out for them. They’ll definitely lose a lot of users but I wonder if they’ll end up getting enough of them to download the official app that they decide it was worth it.
Haha yeah it’s supposed to but in my experience it feels and looks like a buggy webpage without a refresh button. I still have the shortcut on my home screen, I figure once server issues have been worked out then I won’t need the refresh button as often.
i remember keyboard surfing as a child, good times. if u weren’t born in the 90’s u won’t understand
I can’t see what they did, my browser says it can’t establish connection to the server. Sounds like reddit admins took whatever it was down?
Isn’t that only on android? I’m on iPhone
I’m definitely not going to download the official reddit app, I’m done with it for good. Lemmy’s mobile website is good enough for now, hoping that the Apollo developer decides to make a Lemmy client eventually
Excellent shitposting memes, I hope that community proliferates here
The only problem with federation is duplicate communities, and I don’t even see that as being necessarily a bad thing. I’ll subscribe to multiple communities for the same thing and if, over time, I end up getting annoyed with some of them I’ll just unsubscribe.
I want fiber internet so bad, I live in a relatively big city for Christ’s sake it shouldn’t take this long
