Well, I’m not going to have any interest in the game now.

My problem isn’t that animals died to make the game. That’s a bad thing, but my actions can’t affect it. They’re already dead. My problem is that this game is going to further extremes than any other game to deliberately include and glorify animal killing. I kinda forgive it in games like BOTW or Horizon because it’s part of the story, they’re just portraying life as it exists for some people. They’re not thinking about their actions. The dragon’s dogma people are. They are intimately aware of the fact they’re glorifying death, they took the time to think about it and said “that’s a good thing”.

I bought a Pixel a because it has a headphone jack. I only cared about one thing. When mine dies, I’ll buy whatever still has a headphone jack.

Not OP, but for me it was realising I was dronegender. I could either be an atheist whose identity was valid but not “real” as I conceived it, or I could embrace a religion that said my identity was achievable. That said mind melding with a swarm was possible and I could be who I am in a physical sense and not just a personal one.

It’s pretty strange to see an accessibility argument against Discord when Discord is the only platform that’s accessible to plural people. Like, the arguments against Discord are good, but it’s ignoring the tradeoff that other platforms lack the crucial accessibility feature that only discord has.

I moved back to Windows for the games years ago. But I’m never going to install a copy of Windows 11 because fuck that shit, and the next time I move to Linux, I suspect games won’t be a problem.
