I work full time while also going to school so no freedom during summer or anything.
I’ll see if any foss projects look interesting!

If I could get an internship that could pay all my bills I would love one. But I have a mortgage as I’m currently 30. I probably don’t have time for college, my full time job, and a part time internship!
If there are any internships paying around 70k a year I mean I’ll start it in a heart beat XD
This post was 4 months ago.
Fun to know that it’s still absolutely screwed.
Every mc pvp server I looked at had wonderful “Supporter packs”
Brain says bad. Because I’ll be there, working on trying to get a new shiny ship and then the brain is like… “You make 40$ an hour overtime. That’s a lot more ship than doing this.” or "instead of checking in on your skill queue every day for two years to make sure it’s optimal $300 worth of plex and you have your dream toon. "
And yeah… I know myself. I need to avoid games that make that lil voice pop up.
My brain is like “I played that game just like… last year right?”
Nah bro, you played that in high school, which was most certainly not last year.
I mean… in eve you were allowed to straight up buy perfect characters or skill injectors, then the isk to buy a ship. So you could have a newbie with the same character power as a 3 year old player.
My brain does not like grinding games with strong P2W aspects, it messes with me.
I see gold is for sale in the shop, is store bought gold a big influence in the game? Or pretty irrelevant?
I mean… it’s just a specialized search engine so I’m not aware of why they would. But scraping a website and determining ingredients then sticking them in an array seems like a pretty straight forward task.
“Oh that has funny jokes!”
“Oh… they were the only good jokes.”
You’re so right and never thought of it like that! If you Google and find a new service you’ve never heard of, we’re expected to give up our soul in a heartbeat! Even for a new email so many are like: First name Last name Phone number for dual authentication Install this app for dual auth Birthdate!
Like dude, there are a lot of services that just that information alone is enough to call in and take my account. It’s so scary how common that is.
A game I play uses PayPal as the payment processor, and pay pal decided to pay this specific company I had to upload the front and back of my ID.
Just… ugh.
Oh man see I knew i was missing stuff! My gf wanted more if an explanation of why I didn’t love a vpn but I couldn’t really explain more than “if you leave sign pots everywhere that you live here, probably don’t need to worry about bread crumbs”
True! Lots of wonderful comments here.
Someone posted to the class discussion form with the bit about being an ai bot still included.
I wish it was a joke.
I didn’t do great in that class, but it was me getting 70% for not wanting to try and explain a mathematically concept in 500 words! They won’t take that away from me.
Well now have a new service to use!
I’m so tired of Nordvpn and raid.
Like if you’re playing an indie game that sponsored the video, that is sick.
I in no way wanna hear about man scaped while watching a Pokémon video.
Someone else makes a complicated tools for teeth doctors to record what they do and helps them keep track of how much money they are owed.
I teach people to use that tool, and fix it when it breaks. Usually both because I’ll try to explain how to do something and realize it’s broken half way through
Yeah some products don’t work because the sellers don’t fill out the information properly.
Ahh looks like it might be the sellers put in the wrong information. Which sucks, cause I was like… surely I can do something fun with that much sand!
That’s a fine point!
I usually only buy dry rice/beans and the like bulk, which I eat the same amount of every week pretty much regardless. But still only ever buy like a month or so worth at a time.
Getting bulk snacks though from costco… that is a bad move.
No hackathons from my school, I do game jams, and so maybe doing one using only code and not a game engine would be an interesting challenge. Plenty of game jams where the goal is to have the game be like under 10 megs, so straight code is the only way to go.
