To be fair, leaking government secrets is the most effective defense against momma jokes.

The Florida panhandle in the northeast gets the most hurricane activity by far. This is primarily due to the AMOC moving northeast from the Gulf of Mexico, creating a cooler pocket of turbulence on Florida’s east coast.
I guess the one good thing that will come from Trump’s acceleration of climate change will be when the AMOC breaks down, Mar-A-Lago will be unplayable soon after. Unfortunately, the UK will also lose most of its arable land, so it’s not really a great trade-off.
Fair point. I’m not sure myself, but it won’t be enough time if they’re anything like the general contractors I’ve used.
Three months of support is better than nothing, I guess. US global allied support really shouldn’t be determined by ignorant, racist, angry white men in low population areas.
This was mostly created by the one child policy that ran from 1979-2016, coupled with male child preference. In China, a male child is responsible for taking care of his own parents, while females are responsible for caring for their in-laws.
I agree. That’s just the counterargument I often see.
Yes, abducting 19K children from another nation and putting them up for adoption in your country is genocide.
In comparison, 4.2M Ukrainian refugees have been given amnesty throughout the EU, and are free to leave when they’d like.

If Russia was truly “trying to protect children from a war zone,” the children would not be put up for adoption, but given temporary refuge where they could leave at their own will or by coordinating with the Ukrainian government.
The Uyghur genocide and forced labor in Xinjiang is supported by the import of inexpensive Chinese goods, primarily clothing and textiles. Consumers have more direct control over that genocide than others through boycotts.
Or data as dada
We can. The embargo does not affect food donations.
§ 515.206(b) of the CACR stipulates that the prohibitions in the CACR do not apply to transactions incident to the donation of food to nongovernmental organizations or individuals in Cuba.

Those countries don’t have partisan polarization propaganda preschoolers writing their legislation.
Who would you have define hate speech in the US? SCOTUS?
Many citizens may agree on the definition, but I wouldn’t trust our government to draw those lines.
This one’s my favorite.
You can get free rapid covid test kits from the US government with a valid mailing address.
It mandates that subscriptions that begin with a click must be able to end with a click.
I’m guessing gyms will just remove online signup from their websites.
I think they’re both unconscionable.
That’s funny. I read on Lemmy that the horrific treatment of the Uyghurs was just western propaganda. Now what am I to believe?
But it was.
Telegram was launched in 2013 by the brothers Nikolai and Pavel Durov. Previously, the pair founded the Russian social network VK, which they left in 2014, saying it had been taken over by the government.[23] Pavel sold his remaining stake in VK and left Russia after resisting government pressure.
Telegram is now based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The company is registered as an LLC in the U.S. and as a company in the British Virgin Islands.
That’s an S and a more different S alright.
See there’s this pesky little difference between asking his attorney for his phone and seizing it in a raid.
This way, he didn’t have time to delete his messages and emails.
It’s almost like the FBI is doing its job correctly.
