Genuine question for PoE1 veterans: What is it exactly, that people want from the sequel?
With my little experience in 1, I was excited about the new gem system, and the idea of not having to deal with stacks of 20 prefixes on high-end mobs, and it seems that at least with the latter nothing has changed
Oh it absolutely does. Anything you run through steamplay gets a folder in ~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/
or equivalent for your installation
I run it through the same proton prefix as the game that’s being modded
ModOrganizer works out of the box. I haven’t tried installing lists on linux itself on v4 of Wabbajack yet, however if you install one on Windows, and then move it to your Deck, everything i’ve thrown at it so far has worked as intended
The repost is a week late, but yeah
Been waiting for this one for a while. Hope it ends up being fun
I’ve pretty much come to terms that i’ll either never finish it, or will play it again on an emulator eventually. As it is now, it won’t run any better on my Slim console, and i have no intention of upgrading it
This is the only post-DemonSouls game i haven’t finished :/ The frame drops in some areas gave me frequent headaches, so i only made it like a third way in
I believe there have already been a handful of reports on this, like this one. For now i’ve settled on what the final comment suggests, and it seems to work, but the core issue stems from how Nix and its linker work
Very excited about this one. Biome simplified my formatter setup experience massively.
My only issue is that the installation doesn’t work without hacks on my Nix install :/
I wouldn’t necessarily call these “problems”. I just don’t like the how the underlying functionality is designed.
For some basic modding, and installing Nexus collections, it’s probably just fine, but for anything more advanced, It’s too rigid. It didn’t allow me the flexibility to do the things I wanted, and lacked plugin support for things I was already extensively using. My preference still lies with MO2, but of course, everyone is welcome to use the tools that work for them
I feel like it’s just a matter of time, until they pull the rug from under lifetime subs.
But in any case, this is probably it for me. I’m not completely happy with jellyfin performance on my server, but the price hike puts me outside of what i’m willing to spend for this service. I already host it myself, and i can tunnel it myself too, if i ever decide to run it outside of my home network
My GearS3 finally kicked it, after 8 years, and my other watch is even older than that, so the more premium rePebble is actually quite appealing. If i decide to get an update, i’m still debating looking at something like the Garmin Vivoactive though
My only hope that they’ll get it right this time around. NMM was a disaster all around. With the Vortex announcement, hopes went up, given that they literally hired the person who created Mod Organizer, but then it was essentially NMM round 2, with an electron shell. This looks somewhat promising, at least
That’s really great to see. I’m excited to get the game when i can
I’ve blocked all ads on reddit on my own terms, and have actually gone ahead and deleted my 15 year old account too 👍 They can fuck off
Are these the same “completely unattended” Amazon locations, which turned out to have thousands of what essentially were middle-eastern slaves operating the shops remotely?
I’ve learned from my mistakes with Google IoT. Unless I can host things myself, preferably even before the product inevitably dies, i’m not even considering it
Unlikely to happen, because the leadership behind the project claimed they are in contact with Bethesda, to make sure no one’s stepping on anyone’s toes. Although obviously they can just pull the rug at any time, which would be catastrophic. Given that they’ve remade basically every single asset in the game, and require the original game to be owned and installed, it should be fine
