I very much enjoyed Avowed, but its story really doesn’t branch very far, and the combat is entirely Tank 'n Spank. I got what i paid for, and loved all the lore backing from Pillars of Eternity 1 and 2. Great world design too, just the right amount of fun parkour but not too easy to get around, plenty of things to find.

Fuckin loved Far Cry 2, but primarily for the difficulty (smart as hell enemy AI that will fan out in the direction of a noise instead of all taking the same pathing) and the immersive UI choices (like the “physical” map instead of a pause screen). The fire was cool on occasion too though

Yeah, post gen-6 is where i stopped. It felt like the games were really dumbed down, and they leaned way too hard into 3d graphics.
Id prioritize GPU above all the other parts. That is going to be the single biggest price hike IMO.
Any CPU you can drop in your existing motherboard is likely already in your country and shouldn’t be affected by any tarriffs, AM4 CPUs are no longer being manufactured AFAIK.
DDR4 RAM is fairly cheap at this point, adding another 16GB would be good, more than 32GB total isn’t really gonna improve performance much.
Going to full NVME storage (if you are using a SATA SSD/HDD) is also a pretty big upgrade.
