That was it
That was it
I was playing the demo of TCG sim today and was just thinking that myself. In fact, I’m pretty sure I watched a YouTuber play a sort of life sim game where you could do just about anything but it had full 3D graphics and an isometric view. I wish I could remember the name, because from what I remember you could start a business or be a criminal, or work your way up to CEO or even mayor.
It looked kinda fun from the trailers, but it didn’t look like anything groundbreaking. It’s literally the first game just Lego style.
It’s funny to me when people think Lemmy is like a small town.
Like sure not many people use it relatively speaking, but that also means most people are going to be spread so far and wide that the chances of coming across someone in your town is extremely slim.
Not that kinda games, but I appreciate the effort
“WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!”
May be a small one, but a big pet peeve of mine with captions/subtitles is when they don’t put the exact spoken words into text, like when they shorthand a phrase or change up the wording a bit so it uses less typed characters/words. Idk why, it just bugs me a bit cause it’s not what they said.
Damn I actually like the firearms series, and the “douchebag” who rants about armor. I really like when they have Dave Rawlings (the sword guy) and the armor guy together and they’re just needing out over their passions.
We could probably unpin this one, right?
I only played through the first few PotC Tall Tales, mostly cause it gets to be a bit of a slog especially when you’re solo like me
Glad I bought them a couple years ago before the remaster was announced.
I’ve been seeing a loooooooot of koffi links in workshop pages lately. And not just for GMod, but Zomboid as well.
Which, I get it. It’s a side project done out of passion for the game, so they may stick a link in their mod description for some tips if people feel like it. I don’t think I’d ever personally do it though.
I’ve owned Rust for years. Tried playing it for the first time ever a couple weeks ago, and you can only play on servers, meaning it has to be played multiplayer; there’s no option to start a single player server or whatever on your own machine. In order to truly play how you want, you need to buy a server from a third-party website. Part of me thinks that the game has a certain charm with forcing you to play with other randoms, but the rest of me was absolutely turned off by that. I just wanted to play my own save to see how the game is. Nope.
Also, the sheer amount of DLCs for the game that apparently don’t necessarily need to be bought if you happen to kill someone that has the stuff.
Going Medieval, a 3D colony builder like Rimworld, has been in EA for almost three years, and it’s constantly getting new things added to it. The most recent major update was allowing for taking prisoners and adding a conversion system so you can convince them to join you. Aside from that, the devs have added feast and religious events that you can trigger, they’re always adding new buildings and crafting stations, and there’s still more to come like NPC settlement raiding and such.
I’m still not sure how I feel about this game. On one hand, GMod is old and probably not worth the upkeep at this point to keep it stable. On the other, the art style used for the default character models in this look absolutely horrendous; they look like weird thumb/pug/human hybrids.
I know at the core, they’re just mods for the Source and Source 2 engines so you can just mess around with what the engine itself can do, but imo they should stick with the Half-Life characters and other Source stuff rather than make their own.
Well shit if Crowbar Collective becomes an actual game studio that would be pretty sweet. They knocked it out of the park with Black Mesa imo.
There’s a couple actually. The most popular designs usually consist of just black and white horizontal stripes, usually with male and female symbols intertwined. There’s one that’s black and white, with a rainbow pyramid overlayed on top.
Which is funny because in my irl experience I’ve met more people who enjoy the zombies mode than almost any other game mode from CoD, so it makes me wonder why they haven’t just committed to a full sci-fi/fantasy FPS and just have you killing zombies and other crazy shit the whole time. There were multiple levels in the BO6 campaign (I watched a playthrough) that were actually like that.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands (the fantasy spin-off of Borderlands) was insanely fun imo, and plenty of other people felt the same. It seemed like the whole Borderlands style was more suited to a fantasy world than a very soft-cyberpunk-dystopian one.
And they still remake the same handful of games every couple years. We JUST got a new Mario Party that looks identical to the previous two. The only different ones are probably Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.
I don’t think I’ll ever understand Nintendo fanboys that replay essentially the same shit with a slightly different skin on it.
That’s a big building. I think the biggest apartment building in my city is maybe 100 units? Mine is only like 25.
