I got Tidal since I read they pay artists a bigger share per track played.
I like it’s hight quality audio but don’t like it’s suggestions much. I did discover a few good songs but mostly I build my own playlist. To discover music I prefer to start playlist based on a song I like rather than their suggestions but it’s not perfect.

Fix freezing/crashing bugs on android first ! I don’t need nor want AI. I need and want a stable browser.
I still use it all the time exept when a page crash. Wich unfortunately happened too often with Firefox lately. I have a Pixel 8 and it crashes/freeze when scrolling heavy pages or PDF.
It’s annoying that the browser I want to use is crashing so often. But I won’t use Chrome unless I’m forced to, wich the only reasons I was forced to was Firefox freezing.
I did too around that time. I could use realtime to stream my tvtuner on a pentium 90MHZ and play it with winamp on another device.
It does have Spotify in it.
They have a feature to import your music from other sites…

I started using Tidal when I learned they where the ones who pay the artists the most. I don’t know if it’s still true today tho.
Nice ! You made me think of spinning up a little server. It’s been a while since I’ve dabbled in managing a server and not aure I have the time for that. But you made the chances if me going for it much higher.
Would a raspberry pi 4 be enough for running it ?

Thanks for sharing. BBS’s and epic pinball are the reasons for my interest in computer as a kid. I would watch my friend go on BBS’s and play text based game and download ASCII art all day to the point I learned a lot the got my first real computer (386 sx), I had a coco3 as a kid but that was just BASICS with no floppy or tape to load or save programs.
The 386 was such a new world of possibilities especially with software downloaded from BBS’s, took ages but got lots of kool games and music files (.mod) etc… of course porn for a young teen was also nice lol.
For fucks sake why isn’t all assitive devices open source already. Making profit over disabled people misery is such a evil thing ! The capitalist are so fucking out of touch it’s crazy. Kids dying, disabled people pressed for every penny they have etc… how the fuck did we let things go this bad.
If a parent would give their kids blank plane tickets to anywhere in the world, and the kids get hurt in another country. Would we blame the plane pilot, the airship company or the parents? Cause sending your kids on the internet alone is the exact same ! It should always be the parents who care for their kids to control and limit their exposure to internet not society as a whole.
I gotna letter from Toyota that says I will get another letter later because the car might be dangerous for my health and safety without saying what it is and now I have to drive my car not knowing what could happen.
It’s been more than a month and I still don’t have any other letter with information and/or resolution.

With easily searchable text, search for “bank” and get all accounts login. Yay no need to wait for the hacked user to get on his banking site he’s been there before. Quick in and out without being noticed and you got all you need to empty his account. Thanks Microsoft I knew you where so helpful to hackers while making my life shittier all the while.
