Companies only acting in their own best interest and completely disregarding human life? I am shocked! Shocked!

Considering October 7 had 695 civilian deaths (of a total of 1139 deaths) we are seeing a much higher than 30 times Oct7 numbers. It’s more like 50 times (35,000+ deaths in Gaza).
Even if you would count all killed adult men to be Hamas (~70% of deaths are women and children), the number would still be 35 times higher than the death toll of Israelis on Oct 7.
And we’re not even taking into account the number killed by friendly fire on that day.
Good, do it! I hope this will be the start of a flood of countries following suit. All some of them need is the realization “wait, we can do that?”.
And I know a lot of these zionist supporting countries won’t change, but one can hope.
Congressman Adam Smith says ‘totalitarian’ protesters are ‘trying to silence anyone who dares to disagree with them’
Well, isn’t that ironic…
Whatever happened to Israel having to prove to the ICJ they are letting sufficient aid in? Why is nothing happening, shouldn’t there be consequences for this? I know Israel generally doesn’t see consequences but it also generally doesn’t have to comply with an ICJ ruling…
We live in a different era now. Where we aren’t as influenced by the media anymore. They can spin stories all their want, but actually seeing the footage come out of Gaza makes it impossible to ignore or deny. The media is losing its grip and that’s what we’re experiencing.
We can no longer be pacified with “it’s not that bad” or “they are the bad guys anyway, all of them” when you see the footage of four guys being blown up, just like that. When you see the videos of parents burying their babies. When you hear the first person stories the media isn’t bringing you.
That’s what’s different.
After all, President Biden recently said he cannot understand why non-Palestinians are so vested in the Palestinian plight, according to another Democracy Now report.
Can you imagine? People having sympathy for Palestinians being slaughtered?! It’s unbelievable and unforgivable, we like our people to be quiet and uninformed, thank you very much. Next thing you know they get concerned over kids being slaughtered in school shootings. The audacity!

And as a side note; he doesn’t understand why people are sympathetic to the Palestinian plight, but he is ultra sympathetic to Israel. And he doesn’t even see the irony in that…
What happened to “we dismantled Hamas in Northern Gaza and are completely in charge”?
I have been using Firefox as the default browser on my iPhone for a while now. It wasn’t complicated to setup either.

Children with acute malnutrition have weakened immune systems and are at higher risk of dying from common childhood diseases. Those that survive could face lifelong growth and development challenges. They risk facing a future marked by illness, poor school results, and poverty with ripple effects across generations.
From the WHO on malnutrition in children. It looks like that’s a win-win in Netanyahu’s books. If they don’t die now, they will have severely impacted lives. So in 15-20 years we will hear how uneducated they are and incapable of taking care of themselves.
Can we just get rid of vetoes? What’s the point?
+972 approached the IDF Spokesperson for comment in response to the information contained in this article. The army wrote back: “The IDF cannot review the incident based only on testimonies.”
Right, but when all they offer is a single “eye witness” testimony we are supposed to believe them. Good to know that works only one way.
Now is exactly the wrong time to halt funding for UNRWA … We should not collectively punish millions of people for the alleged deeds of a few,” Norwegian foreign minister Espen Barth Eide argued
Norway gets it. I don’t understand how this is even up for debate. Say these claims are true, how does that justify punishing the whole population of Gaza? But then again, that’s what’s been happening since forever so it shouldn’t surprise us… it’s just so saddening to see so many countries callously pulling funds as if it’s nothing. Wtf it’s wrong with these countries?
Yesterday there was an article by CNN saying they didn’t see any proof of the claims by the IDF. Is there now proof or is the National Post just repeating what the IDF says? I read the article but it didn’t provide any clarity…
I also noticed that judge Sebutinde voted against everything. I wonder why? Why would anyone vote against an order to provide humanitarian aid?
Edit: removed a word
Who wants to place a bet if Israel is going to give a shit?
My vote is on “keep going and keep denying”.
I don’t understand why people have a problem with fact checking organizations. Whichever side you’re on, unless you’re actively out to cause harm with misinformation, why wouldn’t you want to know what’s true and what’s not?
That’s what they are banking on, but I’m not sure that’s a safe bet right now…
