That’s the point. Pokemon could be successful in the same way but they’re saying Game Freak doesn’t want to change how they do things.

It still takes work to put all that together. This game was announced like two or three years ago and it looked pretty far into development then.

They’re basically turning Fortnite itself into a console in a way. Or maybe a really elaborate storefront I guess? Even though you don’t buy the games.

They’re owned by Epic so I’m not sure how much of this decision is theirs.

You don’t need AI to do that, that kind of system can be made independent of AI. It’s just not worth doing for this one use case vs using it for a whole voice.
