  • This actually wasn’t always the case. /r/games split off from /r/gaming when a few mods (including myself) got tired of discussion getting choked out my memes.

    There was a mix of people being pissed, excited, and not caring, but I think it ended up for the best. Was a shit ton of work while we were modding both at the same time, but eventually all of us that created /r/games stepped away from /r/gaming and left that sub to its own devices.
