Coffee, black with too much sugar.
To me, tea always seemed like it was just hot water that’s unsuccessfully trying to taste like sticks and flowers.

That seems completely reasonable. Move on. Take your respectful conversation where it’s appreciated
I don’t play, but everyone I know who does, learned Smoke on the Water first.
I’ve already told you how I interact with the site, and that might not be the same way as you.
I’m sure atomic comments make perfect sense to you. I’m also sure, that they make no sense to me. I can be right without making you wrong.
If you can’t understand that different people have different preferences, that’s a much bigger problem than anything we can solve here.
The point is, replying in individual comments is stupid and more confusing. You seem to be trying to defend the idea, but no matter how much you think it makes sense, I would quit this platform in a heartbeat if everyone typed that way.
The downvotes might just be there because someone decided to write a assumptive article about a single tweet. I don’t see any bad comments.
I don’t get what you mean. Can you explain?
Maybe not that long, but they were long enough. We didn’t have 70" HD screens back then, and if you sat further back than 3’ you couldn’t see shit!
I didn’t realize this was an option. I’m going to start putting together a similar letter for the pope.
Sounds a little like imposter syndrome. I bet there are other people on your team who think that THEY are the weakest link. People hide their difficulties and frustrations, so all you see is the finished product without any of the challenges or mistakes that they may have had.
Complaining is a tricky one, nobody likes the Debbie Downer, who never has ANYTHING good to say, but the Little Miss Sunshine who tries to convince you there’s a Silver lining to your dog getting hit by a car, can be just as bad. I try to balance it and reflect the mood of who I’m talking to.
On Super Mario World, did you go through the Star Road and find the alternate exits for every level with a red dot? I feel like that’s the hard mode.
I wouldn’t post the login for random people to copy and paste. Still do all that other stuff to remove all traces of yourself from the account, but ask around and talk to people and when you find someone you want to offer it to, send it discreetly.
Totally agree on load times. That was a major factor in me sticking with Nintendo over PS during that time.
You’re not wrong at all. On any of your points.
It’s a really difficult console to go back to. The peak of the N64 was one of my personal video game peaks. I was in high school and staying up all night at a buddy’s house playing GoldenEye was the BEST.
Many years later, I tried to scratch that itch and buy a used console and some games. We played it for maybe a week, but it was rough, and we didn’t really get any value out of it.
It’s hard to describe how disorienting Super Mario 3D was the first time I played it. 3D open worlds were very new and we were discovering it in the only way available, with a three handed controller.
Now that 3D games have been refined, the N64 looks like a hot mess, with very few actually good games, but at the time, it was like an experimental space craft going to new worlds, we learned how to work it, and we appreciated the ride!
I never look at the threads. I get a notification on my phone that somebody responded. I read the response, I reply to it if necessary. I’m not opening up the entire thread and reading through a conversation from the beginning again.
Stared at it for two minutes and got nothing. Imma try again later.
I don’t like the multiple comment idea.
If the conversation is at the point where you are replying to replies, and you’ve sent me three rebuttals with each of them asking for clarification or verification from me, I’m now sending 3-6 replies back, which may require you to send 12 or more.
Also, I’d lose track of who said what and would end up referencing something from a conversation with someone else.
♥️🟠🟦🟢 in 1:23! I might be getting the hang of this!
Same here. I feel like I’ll have better odds in the future now that I’m starting to understand what kind of answers they are looking for.
Thanks for making me feel old. I haven’t played a Street Fighter game since the 1900s, and no, online wasn’t a thing.
