I daily edge at work because I just wanted to and I like how it integrates with our domain. It’s fine, but I did have to spend some time turning off weird things like price trackers or whatever it was.
I still use Firefox at home though.

Probably just didn’t want to have to make yet another account
In your comment you admit you don’t know, and then end your comment with an out of touch assumption. Good job.
He was hired to do the job, he didn’t buy shit
I’ll bet those people have a more reliable way of keeping track of them than Lemmy posts
Is there a similar community here?
This comment seems like it would be basically incomprehensible to an actual Linux beginner.
Medical examiner testified saying fentanyl was a contributing factor but not the direct cause of death. George Floyd was murdered and people like you are essentially saying he deserved to die because of his behavior. Cops are not the judge, jury, and executioner, and if they were capable of holding him down and killing him then they were capable of handcuffing and arresting him, but chose not to.
Good thing you can change basically everything about how Android looks if you want
Uhh what? No they’re not
It takes like 15 minutes to go from bare metal to login. I built my own PC in March and installed Windows from scratch from a USB drive.
No, if he’s not in IT it should not be possible - I don’t know what email system you’re using but this person should not have the access you’re saying they do.
I’m not saying it shouldn’t be technically possible (I’m a sysadmin, I know what’s possible in a corporate environment), I’m saying your organization should not make it possible.
If he’s in some leadership position I’d be looking for other employment and/or reporting that person to your corporate compliance officer if you have one.
That’s insane and should not be possible
Exactly. With the UI/UX of Sync, it just feels like Reddit again (although with way less activity so far, but it’s gotta start somewhere).
Sync defaulted us to it. When trying to add an account, lemmy.world was the easiest one to use.
For a lot of casual users (myself included) we don’t know any better or why we would do anything else.
These sorts of things aren’t resolved in a matter of days or weeks. Depending on how thorough the investigation is, how cooperative all parties involved are, and how much time per week is dedicated to the investigation we could be well into next year before anything is even announced (if anything ever is).
