Monkey paw: your account gets flagged and eventually you go to jail
Good write up! It certainly made me nostalgic for the games of that era.
Just start early. You’ll be ahead of the curve. There is no one left to look “cool” for.
You were cool all along, no matter what you wore.
Is that monospaced? I am both horrified and impressed.
This is exactly it. They don’t care about your post or you or anyone really. For them, it just feels good to bring down others.
Peep is superior in that he hasn’t been co-opted by white supremacists.
Place your hand inside the box…
Wow! People move fast.
Thanks for sharing. This was really jarring to see.
You bring up legitimate concerns, but I think the bigger point here is that the Fediverse is not Reddit, nor should it be. I find that fragmentation mitigates the system manipulation and “gaming” that is often tied to people who rely on exposure.
It’s what packets crave!
I found the lever puller, guys!
Nice try, bot. You can’t fool me with your appeal to emotions!

On principle, I am downvoting any typical bot-response comments. Don’t do that here, not even “ironically”.
I wonder if it’s to age the accounts…
I disagree on two points:
Who would control the multi-community, and how could a potential bad actor/community be dealt with?
Agreed!
I’ve seen a few posts suggesting that related communities should be merged, but I think their current fractional states help to mitigate some toxic behaviors.
There’s more accountability in smaller groups, and less impetus for negative attention-seeking behavior.
Humans are insanely creative sometimes… I’m doing my part! One frame drawn!
