Well technically yeah, because just giving it the game doesn’t inherently cost then anything. It’s just a “lost” sale. But it’s soon not going to be able to be bought so what’s the difference. This is a very sane and good move from MS. Still sucks that they have to delist it though
Please don’t be one of them Devs that does everything on discord. It’s awful for knowledge. You’ll just get people asking the same questions because you don’t have an FAQ or a wiki, or even a forum elsewhere that’s easily searchable.
Good point
I think if the TOS changes on a game you have paid for you should have the right to a refund if you don’t agree with the new one
I sold my PS2 and every game I owned for it for like 3-4 360 games. About 5 or so years later I massively regretted that. Ended up trying to go for a full PS2 PAL collection, likely to compensate. Stopped collecting at around the 600+ mark.
MegaDrive. Don’t remember how I got it, I just always had it. I don’t play it that often if at all anymore as I prefer the ease of emulating on my HTPC with retroachievements. Even got a nice saturn style fight pad that works great for MD games.
Also the model I have is the region free Asian one even though I live in the UK. I’ve always had a JP copy of sonic 1 too. No idea how they ended up in my hands.
Even really old games have T&Cs though, they’re usually just in the installers. They’ve existed for games since at least windows 95
I’ve only ever played 2000 on ps1, pc and openra. Will be interesting to try out this remaster
Yeah I can understand the FOMO but i rarely ever get anything on sale during these big ones anymore because they’re never as substantial since the flash ones were always a significant discount
They’re still never as good as they used to be. I don’t think the deals have been as good since they stopped doing the timed deals during sales.
I always much prefer to play at the marine resolution of what I’m playing. Not only do i want to have the same experience as of i was using the console but upscaling can often cause some oddities. Especially with 3d games whereas polygons are sharp and any 2d elements are still pixelated. I think that mismatch looks way uglier than the whole screen being pixelated.
It’s just a planck with a screen attached to it. Could easily make your own with a pi zero and a screen and turn you can use any keyboard and will be able to call it around a bit easier than that awkward shape
That’s just how camera controls were best then, they were always horizontally inverted and not many key you change it. If you emulate or play it on pc, you can at least rebind it so its no longer inverted
Where’d he come from Where did he go, where’s the sexbot: Gigolo Joe?
It’s been on ipad for quite a while now, this is just a port.
Looks super rough imo. How do all of these ports look like they’re being viewed through Vaseline but games like Mario odyssey are nice and sharp.
A proper corporate database with the security it needs and the amount of people accessing it (remember how many people bought Minecraft) yes it would be expensive to have multiple databases doing the same thing.
Hard disagree, of i play Minecraft, it’s for vanilla Minecraft. Clones just don’t capture that arm feel and vibe of Minecraft either
As beginner friendly as they are you still can’t play Sims 1 and 2 on them.
It’ll still work after end of service. It just won’t connect online afterwards. Which is sad but at least it’ll still be playable unlike another certain open world racing game.
