DO IT!
Just look at the TPP. The US tried to write the rules and the rest of the partners said, “No.” The US said, “Screw you guys, we’re going home!” and stormed off in a snit assuming the deal would fall apart without them but it didn’t and it ended up being better without the US imperialist bullshit. Then, US farmers realized that they were getting fucked because the US wasn’t part of the deal ([1], [2], [3]) and the US came back demanding to be let in and the US imperialist bullshit restored to the agreement. Once again the partnerd said, “No”.
Let’s let the US leave whatever they want to leave, renegotiate everything without them, then only let them return under the new terms. The world will be a much better place in the end.
EDIT: Trump ordered the US to withdraw from the TPP because the partners wouldn’t be bullied into accepting one-sided andi-competitive, anti-consumer protections for US industry and a dispute resolution process that favoured the US but that the US would ignore when it lost.
Very much this.

I had a traveling farm hand from France who had never been trick or treating. She was 34. She was super excited to go so we took her when we took our kids out. At each house I said, “She’s 34 and from France and has never been trick or treating.” She got a bunch of candy and was very pleased.
Last I heard it was 4%.
Maybe it will make 5% next year, then.
This will be the best thing that ever happened to Linux. Hell, it might even make it up to 4.5% market share.
I wrote COBOL years ago.
I’m currently in treatment for Hodgin Lymphoma. An old friend that I rarely see volunteered to take me to chemo every two weeks for six months. We have really good visits while I’m in the chair. Last week I got out my tablet and showed him my farm in Minecraft. I don’t like being asked how I’m doing or how I’m feeling because literally everyone asks and I get tired of answering. I prefer, “Do you need anything?” or “Can I help in any way?” I’m not good at asking for help. A friend who I have helped several times just showed up with her partner and four kids and their partners and got our place ready for fall. One of the kids partners was a plumber and he installed a couple of sinks for us. We have a bunch of people around us who have offered to help and meant it. One got up early and drove my son and his bike to school two days after chemo. Another has done groceries for us and taken my wife grocery shopping because she doesn’t drive. If you offer to help mean it and do anything you can to help. Otherwise, just be there and do things other than talk about cancer. Normalcy is welcome. If she wants to talk, talk. If she just wants you to be there, be there.
In the days before *nx, “terminal” meant a VT terminal and “clear” wasn’t a thing.

Is one of my favorites. Of course, most of you are too young to know what that means.
26 when your brain is almost certainly fully myelenated to 65 since the future of young people is far more effected by elected officials than the futures of retired people.
This is rage bait. How many times a year would this happen? Two? Three? There are more important things to talk about. That’s why they’re taking about this
Basically the same as we’re listed here. Obligate carnivores require a largely meat based diet. Some guys book where he claims is ok isn’t good enough proof. You need peer reviewed and published science with a large population over a long time to be sure.
Just very obvious stuff. Carnivores require meat.
Sure…this discussion came up a couple of months ago. Several people argued that feeding a herbivorous diet to a carnivore was animal abuse. Everyone arguing that point, including myself, was banned and all comments not supporting the group think in the echo bunker were removed.
Need more?
You came with, “I know you are but what am I?” three times then told me that if I commented it meant that I cared what you thought. There was no irony at all, just sadness that I didn’t get a real discussion but a series of falacious school yard taunts. Weak.
It’s funny that you think you can tell me what I’m thinking. “If you reply it means you care about my opinion.” That is the height of arrogance.
Danth’s Law
You were right. The US never rejoined.
Trump ordered the US to withdraw from the TPP because the partners refused to agree to one sided, anti-competitive, anti-consumer protections for US industry and a one sided, US centric dispute resolution process which the US would ignore when it lost.
The patnership is up and running and functioning as intended and US farmers continue to moan about the fact that they lost access to the TPP market. The Brookings Institute wrote an interesting article about it.
