Hi from near the top of the iceberg. I have five from the top and two from the next level down, plus two from level four. A balanced diet?

Finding specific words in an MP3 log file for our radio station. Free app called Vibe transcribes locally.

A 27" LG 1920x1080 LCD with a 3" vertical gouge in one side and a wrinkly backlight diffuser sheet. To the left, a 22" LCD of some sort, and further left, the 15" LCD of the ten+ year old Toshiba laptop that’s running the show.

But I’m lazy and mostly just use a 17" FHD laptop to Rustdesk into the Toshiba from the lounge.

Aah well, time for a brake.

I don’t think GPU are used for bitcoin any more? You need ASICs to be able to hope for any return on investment.

If it’s not overly humid, evaporative air conditioners are a cheap to run way to keep cool. The personal units (Convair Classic etc) are typically about 50 to 80 watts, so a single solar panel, battery and inverter should guarantee safe, grid free cooling for one or two people.

Sounds a bit like Rustdesk. I’m happily hosting a relay on my VPS but the ‘account’ features don’t work for the free version. I just keep them in a note instead.

Maybe you could build a wooden bicycle.
