Is there any video chat service that isn’t? It seems every single one has some glaring issue that makes it a pain to use. If I didn’t use the platform to also read the news and just talked about games or looked at memes, I might do the same. But I’m not going to block instances of “Trump” or “Vance” or “Musk” because knowing what those fuckwads are doing is kind of important.

Put it in the frame of real life. Are you going to totally cut off a family member or friend just because they said 1 minor thing you don’t agree with?

I got super prepared for Oblivion to be as complex and difficult as Morrowind and was severely disappointed by it even at launch. Skyrim was slightly better than Oblivion in terms of mechanical complexity (dual wielding, how magic works, the forts, etc), but also even more streamlined in others (like how skills and leveling work).

I’ve played the absolute shit out of all 3 (as well as FO3, NV and 4) though. There is just some inexplicable draw to them. And it’s that very thing that Starfield lacks that had me rush the MQ and just stop playing once it was over.

When I was still using Reddit, it looked like most people in that community were just running personal home media servers using basic as fuck raspberry pi setups or just old hardware that could handle it, like maybe a modded Xbox or something.

I was still interested 2 years after Elden Ring came out for its DLC because Fromsoft’s DLC has commonly been like expansions of old.

Maybe if the industry actually made expansions more than drip feeding meaningless, smaller bits of content, people would stay interested longer.

It’s not like the desire for old school expansion packs went away. Y’all just stopped making the damn things.

No settings or options are gonna fix what I find not fun about the genres I don’t like (MOBA, Hidden Object, and racing games). I just don’t find the gameplay of these genres fun.
