Because it’s a live service game. The disconnect is that this doesn’t make players want to stay as much as the developer/publisher would like.
I’m just a weird, furry, pan guy (cis he/him). I also have a big, blue username.
I’m learning Japanese so sometimes I might write something out in romaji just to practice. Please correct it if it’s wrong!

FireFox has multiple extensions that are specifically made to bypass paywalls. No AI necessary.
I always preferred the SNES version of SimCity to the original PC version. The graphics and music are way better and the gameplay is exactly the same.
“Hey if you want me to take a dump in a box and mark it ‘Nintendo’ I’ll do it. Trust me, I’ve got the time.”
Well if I was going to hire Tim Cain to do a Fallout… I’d let him figure that out. Do whatever you want, buddy! Just set it inside the Fallout universe.
Just entering the DLC at level 1 is a fun challenge. But, like… If you can kill Radahn and Mogh at level 1 it probably isn’t actually a challenge. 🤷🏻♂️
Maybe I can finally kill the last dude. Fucker always nukes me with his arena filling divine light bullshit like 30 seconds into the second phase because it kills me in one shot. Literally only dude in the game at this point who has been able to.
I used to think this guy was cool, but fuck him.
You should still see an increase with every level, it just won’t be as big once you start getting toward the max. Kinda like stats and soft/hard caps.
My standards have not changed in the least. The quality of journalistic integrity sure the fuck has, though. And not just with video games or entertainment media, but across the board.
They had everything right with the Dreamcast, but they had no confidence. They killed it after just 1 year while sales were actually rising, and even in that time it managed to get one of the best libraries of that era. Imagine if they had actually continued to support it.
I have a *working Pong machine.
*It runs, but I don’t like to turn it on because it gets extremely hot.
So it wants to be cyberpunk? Good to know.
Most of what I’ve seen was “waaaaaah! It’s too hard! 😭”
Though there are some legitimate complaints about performance. The areas with tons of waterfalls and the final fight have hella slowdown.
Video game journalism has always just been third party PR
Nah. Back in the days of print, there actually was some fucking integrity with most outlets. Such as with Computer Gaming World.
Those poor, poor, TV execs… They all had to settle for gold plating in their heated in-door pools and Rolls Royces instead of platinum. 😔
PS5 has no games either. It’s the PS3 2. 3+2 = 5.
Reading the description and looking at the images…
Is this like Star Trader RPG but with trains instead of spaceships in a weird Victorian themed “space?” 🤨
Maybe they should remove the big Early Access banner from the store page if the game is actually finished. I liked it when it first launched and had the free play weekend, but I wasn’t going to spend the $30-40 it cost for a single map on an unfinished game.
And I mean even back in the hay days of Tribes 2, it was sort of a niche game.
Am I gonna be taxing around other players? Why would they do this to an arcade-style classic? Also clearly using “open world” as a buzzword since the original game was also an open world; you just had a time limit that prevented any real exploration.
