As a terrorist they could torture and kill him without covering anything up.

He didn’t leak, he published.
That’s what’s so concerning about the case. The USA tried to persecute an Australian citizen working out of the EU for publishing information.
If precedent was set they could kidnap anyone from sovereign countries based on US law
I think medical advancement could be as dramatic this century was in the last. However, patent law is likely to hold us back
This comment seems contentious. Are the differences in opinion political? An ideological opposition?
.
Thank you for your comment, it provided more context than the article
Writing down a crypto wallet key in a self hosted password manager on a highly encrypted self hosted drive which degraded. Pretty much the same with the photos, if I didn’t encrypt my backups I would have been able to recover more files.
You would not believe how much I have lost from being obsessed with high-threat modeling for my low-threat life. $10k and family videos for a start.
Sometimes it’s a good idea to protect the community from itself lol.
Anonymous sex in bathrooms has become almost nonexistent in my city since Grinder.
I’m sure there are a few beats left, but nothing like it used to be.
Dogging seems to have picked up, but I assume the married are organising these affairs online.
I agree our media is incredibly controlled.
However, this summer didn’t feel different, it got to 45C as normal in Perth, the heatwaves did not feel longer or worse.
Maybe we’re frogs in water but I’d say such an article would not engage the public
Art is theft
All art is inspired by other art, it grows, evolves, eats itself, parodies life, informs living.
I wouldn’t worry about it
How much was WeWork valued at without turning a profit?
I found a .com domain helps with this. You can find some ugly ones for cheap
I cannot think of a use-case outside of statecraft. Maybe companies engaged, or being engaged, in corporate espionage.
I hang out with my cats.
People have weird impressions of animal companions, especially cats, because they treat them poorly. You should raise animals like children: learn from a good cat parent directly and read up on evidenced-based books. It’s easy to see parallels with poor parenting: intergenerational poor parenting, nuclear families where the grandparents aren’t actively engaged in teaching how to parent, absent parents due to capitalisms unending grind.
It takes patience, positive reenforcement, consistency, and commitment. But cats can be best friends.
Libreoffice calc does not have the functionality Excel does.
ikr, ITT, people getting mad they don’t fit into / agree with a strangers green flag list. The world is a wild place and I hope it’s not as hostile or absurd as I believe it is.
Mullvad has had some awesome projects recently.
Proton have been trying to drive a privacy orientated ecosystem and an alternative to the big three.
Both deserve your money. Great companies
I got real excited to learn the physics of a nuclear gravity bomb.
We have gotten to the point in modernity where so many bombs are technologically guided we must define bombs which fall, and are guided by, the force of gravity.
As a lover if insects and arachnids who spends significant time in nature and the garden, the fear I feel for wasps is indescribable.
The idea someone, two millennia ago, wrote wasps to be the most evil, feared, sadistic thing in their experience of the world resonates with me deeply.

As he is not a US citizen he was not able to use the X amendment to free speech.
