Sometime sit’s really obvious when someone doesn’t know much about Canada. Americans that move here get irritated and leave within a year, 7 time outta ten.

They never claimed to be patriots, they weren’t there because they love this country, they were their because they hate this government. They might like the people and the land, but the government is the country, really, and it’s nothing to be proud of anymore.
But he hasn’t, You’ve just not been listening, Trudeau started acting like a 12 year old girl over this, went and cried in public that Harris should have won, this was such a setback to the progressive agenda and the USA and the blah blah blah, but he didn’t do this after Trump won, he did this after Trump started teasing him. (Then he claimed to be a feminist and turned around fired his female finance minister, that he had left at home when he went to florida to talk finance with Trump, another brilliant idea by the narcissist, should have sent the foreign affairs minister and stayed home himself.)
IKR? The real point is he fucking hates Trudeau, and has been saying that openly for years now. This is just another way to needle him.

Truth hurts, huh? Even Trudeau (the smarter, deader one) has said it.
I don’t think you’ve ever been west (or south for that matter, the USA is only a dystopia on TV) of Ontario, nobody much gives a shit either way. Eastern Bastards or Yankee bastards, same difference.
The version of the war of 1812 taught in the states is odd. Mostly focuses on the battle of New Orleans. The USA started the war as an attempt to invade and annex the Canadian British colonies in the east, and the war went so poorly they ended up (successfully, but still) defending Louisiana. Basically, if Napoleon hadn’t started doing Napoleon things, the USA may well have become British again,
People from both countries (and various European nations when they want to needle us, but mostly the English) have been calling Canada the 51st state for decades, this is nothing new.
I ain’t american so…less bullshit would be nice.
“We have previously asked moderators to remove content relating to jury nullification when this was suggested in context of murder or other violent crimes. Following a discussion in our team we want to clarify that we are no longer requesting moderators to remove content relating to jury nullification in the context of violent crimes when the crime in question already happened. We will still consider suggestions of jury nullification for crimes that have not (yet) happened as advocation for violence, which is violating our terms of service.” Ok that is utter bullshit regardless of country, and I’m no American saying that. You though, whoever wrote that, have completely revealed yourself as an utter statist monkey begging to be dominated
wtf is reddit anymore but a bunch of bots repeating the first comment endlessly
That’s the oldest trick in the propaganda arsenal, there ain’t one English speaking legal or education system that wants every citizen to know they can just decide to let it slide. They actively, and with insane propaganda levels, push this “rule of law” bullshit that results in jurors on the news after the trial saying shit like “I didn’t know we could just let them go even if they did it” Zero critical thinking, they needed to be told.
Man, I’ve been to all these places, one in particular for years at a time. They’re nice, but everyone has to quit listening to the media and go outside. The states are straight up better off in all measures than Canada, Ireland, the UK, France, everywhere. All you gotta do is man up, figure out how to pay for health insurance yourselves, and take advantage of all the opportunity around you the other countries lack, and the much lighter tax bills. Or, yknow, just sit on here or reddit all day and bitch.
