Passionately in favour.
I don’t mean to besmirch the original commenter’s honour, but I read it as the tart will be in the coffin, having passed.
This was really interesting, thanks for sharing! It makes me wonder if there are similar sites near me that could be used.
No problem, I’m glad you’ve found something that helps!
I’ve never had one last that long, so I second commenters saying to check in with a doctor. However, my go-tos are caffeine (usually chilled cola), paracetamol and ibuprofen, placing a cold wet cloth over my eyes and/or the back of my neck. In addition to darkness and quiet, of course. This regimen doesn’t make my migraines go away, but it takes the edge off and makes them more bearable. I hope any of this helps you out, good luck!
Open Road Song by Eve6, especially in the car of course.
That sounds very similar to Desiderata.
Edit: whoops, I meant the Serenity Prayer. Desiderata is also very good though.
For those who don’t know it: God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can, and Wisdom to know the difference.
I’m Atheist, but it’s still helpful to me.
For reviews, depending on the product, I check tech websites, Amazon or productreview.com.au (I’m sure there are other local equivalents). For niche hobbies, forums on hobby-specific websites (eg. I sew, and find the forums on the Pattern Review website very helpful) or facebook groups. I don’t travel, so I have no personal experience with that one. For health advice, I check sources such as health authorities and universities. I’ve never had to seek legal advice. I guess I never relied entirely on Reddit exclusively for answers on all of these things, I like to check multiple places.
Time for you to post then! I never posted much on Reddit but I’m making an effort on Lemmy to help it succeed.
Thank you for the clarification.
