Bought myself stardew valley cause im sick and it is a blast. Also got a fanatical bundle which incuded cyberhook. Its surprisingly good to play on steam deck thanks to track pads and the gameplay loop is really addictive

Currently playing through, it’s pretty good. As OP said, some missing textures can sometimes ruin immersion or look a bit iffy, but if you loved the other games and dont want to have to wait a year or two, its worth it. Not to mention its probably going to get better, the team is hard at work releasing updates that fix problems you might find.

Two monitors. One is 1440p and mainly for games and other tasks, while the other one is a really old and kinda shitty 1080p monitor i use while im doing stuff on the better monitor. I usually watch youtube or have a discord voice call open, sometimes i use it to have a tutorial or wiki page open like that i dont always have to alt tab and see the page again. Its really useful and i cant stand using a single monitor anymore haha. Thankfully im ok using the steam deck still

You’ve described it perfectly. Its honestly addicting just putting your nostrils over that air vent when you boot up a demanding game and smell the comforting steam deck vent smellls. I suggest you get a steam deck purely for the vent smell. I’ve already got 14 which im sniffed all the vent smell out of already.

You need to sign into meta yes, which sucks, but it might be possible to keep the headset offline. It would mean no steam link but sideloading (and thus piracy) is easy as hell on quest.
