Steam has DRM for Steam games. You can add any other game to Steam and ask Steam to attach Proton to it.
Steam.
Exercises like Duolingo are only half the battle. You need to have some immersion in the language you’re learning. Watch tv and listen to podcasts in the target language, you won’t understand (at first) but your brain will start recognising the sounds and structures.
I think that aspect has improved, then. The player base seems to have discovered that grouping up to take on fullgears is more fun than wrestling in the mud.
It’s a mixed bag. Bambis have nothing to lose, so you’re more likely to make friends.
I’ve had a few good runs by talking to people. You get betrayed every now and then, but it’s part of the game.
Same. Bohemia Interactive’s rep took a big hit (in my mind, at least) so I’m a lot more cautious.
This is after I backed the Arma3 Supporter Edition and had to wait like 6 hours after general release to play. Sadtimes.
NGL, DayZ has improved massively over the last few years. (I too had a very dim view of it after they took a massive step back moving from mod->Standalone)
Also, they made the Livonia DLC free and launched the Frostline DLC.
All games on Steam use Steams DRM, I would have thought.
Same thing happened in Ireland.
On iOS the web rendering engine is the same one used in Safari, yeah.
But everything built on top of that is custom.
I can think of no higher honour in this day and age.
Fixed rates are safer, for sure.
But during the pandemic, when rates went to near zero, I was very glad to be on a variable.
Mortgages can change repayments amounts as the central lending rate changes.
We’re in a squeeze in Canada right now because rates went up and a bunch of mortgages are up for renewal. (5-year fixed rate is standard here)
Thank you for the reply.
I’m just getting into these things. And immutability seems like a double edged sword.
I just started using Bazzite. It’s my second attempt at a Linux gaming setup (Pop_OS was first, Bazzite is working out much better).
What made you lean away from Bazzite, if you don’t mind expanding on that?
It’s only $99/ year!
Though you can only read it on registered devices.
On top of all this, what really irritates me about epic is they talk like they give a fuck about consumers, but never act like it.
Too many knocks to the head.
Will you please invest my money for me?
