This is probably the best way to go. It leaves instances separate but allows users to pull what they want together.

I loved redreader when I was on android. Wish it had an iOS port.

It’s really cool how it all works. I like beehaw. I have a user on there as well. I started with lemmy.ml so I’ve just been using it more.
