Video scalers my dude. Proprietary yes, but Chinese is questionable. Crestron, Extron, QSC, all major video products based out of the US, tho I believe only Crestron manufacturers in the US.

Normal enough I deal with it on 2 separate machines. One new and store bought, unmolested by IT lockdown bs, and the other I built and use really just for gaming. Idk man. I just feel like Windows has gotten worse and worse and I’m thinking of hopping back to Linux now that gaming is more accessible on it thanks to Proton, but I can’t completely get away from windows.
It doesn’t. I bought it with a company credit card and I don’t let IT touch it. I gotta do a lot of stuff in the field so I don’t have time to call IT every time I need to install a software update update.
The File Explorer behavior is something I’ve been noticing lately. I do have a number of cloud accounts connected for work, 2 One Drive, 1 dropbox, with a shit ton of files and folders (most not sync’d locally) and I wonder if File Explorer is looking through those when it opens.
Idk man. I have a brand new laptop my work got me and I notice it. Windows is just plain bad now. It’s like I go to save a file and the file browser window opens and I’m stuck sitting there waiting for minutes. It’s like I’m suddenly 10 again when you’d turn on your pc, go make breakfast, come back and hope your PC finished booting. Does it both on my work laptop running 11 and my PC at home running 10.
Horses however only require grass, hay, etc, are self driving to an extent and can return home if needed, and have less environment impact than a car.
What’s different about this from the version that’s already available on Steam? What’s up currently plays like shit unless you fix the controls, but it’s there. This doesn’t appear to be a remastered version, so I must be missing something.
Unfortunately they added micro transactions, a paid battle pass, and worst of all Nprotect Gameguard. I’m not putting that shit on my PC. It’s a cheap kernel level rootkit that some people say they were unable to easily remove even after uninstalling games using it.
Turns out it translates to REPLICA
Yeah that makes more sense. Thought the MMO by the same name from many years back was making a return for a second.
Got my Steam Deck recently and just wanted to add image resources to non steam game icons for Plex and Firefox and such. Remembered seeing this post here a while back and now I’m deep in the rabbit hole. Thanks for this super useful post!
Exactly, which is why I don’t understand disliking the games and being salty over a poor financial choice. Especially after CDPR gave him extra money after the success of the series
He was given the option of either a lump sum or a percentage of game sales. He thought video games were a passing fad and took the lump sum. Then he got pissed because the games were super successful.
Man I’m over here reading this post in my 30s like dude what? For real.
I love Sanderson novels and especially the Stormlight Archives. I know if Amazon or someone picked it up, they’d absolutely ruin it. Probably the only way we’d see a faithful adaptation would be in animated form.
Me too man. Me too.
Yo! I’ve been wondering the same thing! I saw those all over Greece and they’re wild. Thought they were like cannabis shops or something lol.
