HomesliceAbe was playing Mario kart and HomesliceAbe’s dad couldn’t think of name of one of courses (HomesliceAbe thinks name was "Moonview Highway?). HomesliceAbe’s dad called course “Homeslice Highway” and HomesliceAbe thought new name was hilarious. Also, HomesliceAbe is big fan of Abraham Lincoln.

    kirbo is a big fan of the videogame super smash bros. the creator of ssb, Masahiro Sakurai also created the kirby franchise. when kirbo made a lemmy account and had to choose a name, kirbo used kirby but appended with an o instead of a y (kirbo did this on other platforms too before ever learning about TerminalMontage’s Kirbo)
