Civ VI is pretty cheap right now, grabbing it at the moment for 3€, but that might change from region to region.

The dlcs packs are pretty cheap too.

Personally I found 6 to not be as fun as 5. I still play 5 all the time but I lost interest with 6 after less than 100 hours.

Still though, for that price I’d pick it up just to have tried it.

If you haven’t already tried the DLCs, you should. AI gets very improved and the behaviour is much more normal and humanlike.

There are things I like and dislike about both, but the district mechanic is something I find hard to live without.

If the writing is bad, it’s okay to close the book.

If the acting is poor, it’s okay to leave the cinema.

If the gameplay is unsatisfying, it’s okay to quit.

Life is short. No sense in wasting it on entertainment that isn’t entertaining.

I have done at least one full playthrough of Civ 6 from ancient era until somebody scored a victory. I did a couple other playthroughs that I ended early. Ultimately I just felt like the whole time I wanted to play Civ 5 more
