Oh my god. Using fps to calculate physics is barely acceptable in a student assignment, let alone Wolfenstein
For those that don’t get it, Bethesda studios (creators of Skyrim, Fallout 4, Fallout 76, etc) has used an engine where the speed of the game’s physics and such were tied to the fps the game was running on.
This led to people with certain monitors, drivers, or GPUs getting a higher framerate and consequently having their game glitch (running faster, physic getting extra wonky) as the game speed was altered.
