That’s cool, but unless he made a mod that alters the Skyrim economy I dunno if it’s all that relevant. It would be like saying “my friend, who is a baker, is bartending at my party”

I don’t necessarily agree with this statement. Sure, in principle, an economy and a survival gameplay overhaul mod are focussed on different areas and require different kinds of creativity and knowledge to come up with. However, implementing such systems takes completely different skills than designing them. And I’m not just talking about the ability to code, but also about project organization, design philosophy and art, as well as immersion.

This creator has shown an outstanding ability in all those crucial areas. But when it comes to immersion, they really are dedicated, way more than other people. Take a look at their mods. Because some in game book talked about High King Wulfharth rebuilding the 418th step of High Hrothgar, but this was not apparent in the game, they literally counted the steps of High Hrothgar and changed the 418th step just to fit the lore. This is a sort of dedication to detail and immersion only a few people show, because it’s so niche and unnecessary. Just like their book pile resource mod, level up messages, and knock-on-doors-mod.

This is a person who has an intrinsic need to make a game world more believable, and I’m glad they were chosen to work on Starfields economy system.
