To be fair all “users” got what they wanted so… Success?
I think if I was in her shoes there’s no way I’d figure it out unless it was super obvious. It’s way too unreal and it contradicts occam’s razor.
I have auto collapse comments based on score for this reason.
Password game irl
Texas has broken out of containment.
A couple years back I found my old Gameboy advanced. I tried to play Kirby on it and I was taken back by how much it sucked. The screen was way smaller than I remember it being and there was no backlight which meant I had to play the game in a well lit room. I don’t think I could ever go back to those days.
Nah. 2nd world countries are fine.
Wtf. It’s not even center aligned.
I installed an ad blocker once I started getting unmuted video ads. I would be studying for an exam and suddenly start getting blasted with a super loud ad. This was in like 2015, before Chrome added the speaker icon next to the tab playing sound I had to look through every tab to find the source and mute it.
Same with crypto right? It’s the standard new tech comes out and 100 companies tries to capitalize and maybe 5% will survive.
I guess I have to defend this one. I personally think Typescript is the better language compared to typed Python or Ruby (two comparable languages based on how they are all used). Modern Javascript actually have a lot of nice language features, the only issue is the lack of types. Typescript doesn’t entirely solve the problem but it’s a decent attempt at it. A good typescript repo is decently readable, testable and performant enough for most use cases.
It’s ironic that the illustration for JavaScript is probably the most realistic and best solution IRL. In the sense that a lot of what problem solving is (which is a big part of software engineer) is breaking a big problem into smaller problems. And you continue doing this until each problem is solvable in a short period of time.
JavaScript sucks though as a language.
How were they shielded? Do you have a source I can read? I’m genuinely interested.
I remember reading that there were protests because people bought condos and were essentially told they were never going to get completed. Did those people get a refund from the government or the company?
And if you try ace attorney and liked it then I would highly recommend Ghost Trick by the same creator.
This is a very grey topic for me. We can use the Russian invasion as an example since you brought it up. You can argue that more lives would have been saved had Ukraine just rolled over and surrendered immediately. But you can also argue their quality of life would be worse. But how do you compare that to resisting and fighting a war? How many lives would you trade for how big of an improvement in quality of life?
Btw I’m for Ukraine resisting, and I support them 100%. I’m just giving an example why it might not be always best to compare in human lives. Or at least, it’s really complicated.
Truly the master breed 🙏 \s
