    Warning from a russian think tank? (edit: As a reply states below, autonomy IS important, but I also believe this “vassalised” charge is extremely hyperbolic)

        Point taken. Thank you - amended my initial statement. I am ALWAYS skeptical when studies align so perfectly with russian talking points.

        How would the EU gain more autonomy? Increased military spending? Just walk away from old alliances and hope that makes you stronger?

        EU seems to have more control over American tech companies than the US govt has.
