Trump Republicans tried to take over the hall (assisted by the Secret Service confiscating noisemakers) and hijack the Libertarian convention. They lined up early then stole the front row seats marked reserved. It all backfired wonderfully.
This dude really thinks he is smart doesn’t he. Half of america just wants an asshole, thats all.
What this shows is that Trump’s entire team doesn’t really understand what Libertarian is. Kennedy seemed to understand, but his politics obviously don’t align.
Then again, personally I put Libertarianism in the same camp as Communism as far as ideologies that are great in theory, but handwave the human factor away. The trick is in how to avoid authoritarianism while still being realistic about how humans behave individually and in groups.
The video is great schadenfreude but a better analysis is available (RFK Jr wasn’t well received by attendees either).
